We have been registered and operating as Caloundra Van Lines since 1978.

How do I book a move with CVL?

You can easily book your move online via our website or call our customer service team. We recommend booking at least two weeks in advance to secure your preferred date.

What areas do you service?

We move up and down the East Coast. Cairns, Mackay, Townsville, Bundaberg, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Western NSW, Western Victoria, South Australia, Western Queensland.

Can I see reviews from past customers?

Is your company registered for state and interstate transport?

Yes, Caloundra Van Lines do both local and interstate moves.

Can you do all the packing?

Yes! We offer a full packing service by the carton, plastic protection, cartons supplied, all packaging materials supplied. Boxes for moving, port a robes etc

If I do the packing, are there restrictions on types of boxes I can use?

The use of proper cartons is encouraged due to their uniform size and they are built for purpose.

What packing supplies do you provide? What's included?

We supply everything needed to pack properly. We provide customers with cartons, paper, tape, bubble wrap, port-a-robes and boxes for moving.

How do you charge?

Hourly charge is always preferable. Get a free quote!

What should I do to prepare for moving day?

To make the moving process smoother, ensure that all items are packed and labeled before our team arrives. Disassemble large furniture, and keep walkways clear for easy access. Don’t forget to set aside essentials you’ll need right away in a separate box!

Caloundra Van Lines are awesome! Jason, Andy & the team are wonderful people to deal with. Right from the first contact to the unloading of the final box - the process was smooth, seamless, safe & efficient. They moved us from Queensland to Victoria without a hassle. If a 10 star review was possible, I’d give Jason and the team a 10/10.After being let down by another company, I called Jason at Caloundra Van Lines, and immediately felt like I was dealing with someone who cared about his clients.Over the next few weeks we communicated re: the ideal date, packing, storage advice etc (I was in Melbourne and not at the property on The Sunshine Coast).We locked in a day, Jason dropped around on Easter Monday for a final visual check, and a couple of days later the packing began. The entire experience was professional, reassuring, and something I’d never expect to write in a review about removals… Fun and entertaining.Jason took any potential stress away from the experience with decades of experience and great banter.One week later everything was unloaded into storage in Melbourne (from the Sunshine Coast), and the boys did a side trip to drop off a couple of things to another location 15 minutes away at no extra charge.Cannot recommend Caloundra Van Lines enough. Nearly 40 years worth of a house packed up and delivered as promised. Prompt responses via email or mobile, with an overall feel of ‘nothing is a bother, anything is possible’. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fled Melbourne for Queensland in early 2021. Jason, Andy and the team at Caloundra Van Lines were so good. Decent prices, family-owned business, no shortcuts (everything wrapped and secured nicely!). If you're moving interstate then I'd highly recommend these guys.
